The Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation (Tribe) submitted a revised application in May of 2011 to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) to approve the acquisition in trust of 21 San Diego County assessor's parcels totaling 1,357 acres of land (hereafter, "Sycuan Property").
