Remove and/or replace burned wood, dry-rot wood, and termite damaged wood throughout the property. Bring plumbing up to City code requirements, and replace stolen or damaged pipes from vandalization entry. Bring electrical up to City code requirements, and replace wires which were stolen or damaged from vandalization/forced entry. Rebuild damaged framing on the front of the house to be consistent with current City fire code requirements. Install double pane, energy efficient windows and sliding doors to comply with energy efficiency standards. Install a Fire Sprinkler system. All changes proposed were made at the request of the Fire Marshall so that the house can be reoccupied.
