Document Description
The California Department of Transportation proposes to install a Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) on State Route 70 near the Spring Garden Overhead (Post Mile 50.9). This section of highway is susceptible to icy conditions during the winter due to polonged periods of shading. In 2005, a Remote Weather Information System was installed to monitor weather and pavement conditions and provide an electronic advisory message to motorists on a sign mounted above the highway.
