Document Description
Using both state and federal funds, the California Department of Transportation will perform maintenance on 27 bridges at 18 locations. The work will vary at each location and may consist of: Repairing unsound concrete, removing asphalt and replacing with polyester concrete, replacing joint seals, placing methacrylate overlays, adjusting or replacing metal beam guardrail, and adjusting approach slabs to conform to new deck heights. The combined construction activities will not result in a significant effect upon the environment.
