Document Description
Approval of a Removal Action Workplan (RAW) by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) pursuant to Healthe and Safety Code, chapter 6.8 as submitted on April 9, 2009 by CTL Environmental Services. The RAW focuses on excavation and removal to mitigate soils impacted with excessive levels of lead, organchlorine pesticides (OCPs), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and total petroleum hydrocarbons as carbon chain (THPs) and soil gas tetrachloroethene (PCE) onsite. The purpose of the project is to mitigate impacted soils that exceed the project-specific human health and environmental risk criteria to minimize human exposure to the identified chemicals of concern (COCs).
