This segment of the bike trail floods during the summer months when a natural sand berm builds and forms a barrier between creek mouth and the ocean. The Permit will allow construction access to remove 511' of bike trail and flood wall, relocate a storm drain and water pipe, and re-construct the trail slope, and U channel under the bridge.
