Document Description
This proposed project would produce the following modifications to the existing day-use parking lot for Trestles Beach area that lies next to El Camino Road: 1) Installation of an entrance kiosk with phone and electrical service. Kiosk will sit on top of the pavement; 2) Utility trench to provide electrical and phone service will be approximately 200' long and extend from the kiosk to the street and then head northward paralleling El Camino; 3) Installation of a self-pay machine; 4) Installation of a new stout entrance gate at the lot entrance; 5) Demolition of about 300' of chain-link fence and replace with single-strand quarter inch metal cable wire hung on thimble eye posts; 6) Installation of an interpretive display case and doggie bag dispenser at trailhead; 7) Replace the existing entrance sign; 8) Plant native vegetation along El Camino; 9) Remove 10' of curbing; 10) Restripe the parking lot; 11) Demolish an unused cement footing, two old metal supports, and a small irrigated plot; 12) Installation of a step-through section in the fence line.
