Document Description
The proposed project is to install changeable message sign (CMS) and closed circuit television cameras (CCTV) at the truck scales in El Dorado and Sacramento counties. The project proposed to replace the CMS sign at the Camino Weigh station on westbound Highway 50 in El Dorado County and install two new CCTV systems mounted on existing electrical poles at the Antelope Weigh Station in Sacramento County. The purpose of this project is to replace the non-operative and non-standard changeable message sign (CMS) at Camino Weigh Station and two CCTVs at Antelope Weigh Station for CA Highway Patrol (CHP) to monitor truck backing up on the mainline route 80. All work will be in Caltrans right of way.
