Document Description
Construct a new Mental Health Services Building (MHSB) to support LAC's Enhanced Outpatient Program. The building will include individual and group therapy rooms, classrooms, and office space. The ADA-compliant building will be approximately 13,000 square feet, within the secure perimeter of LAC, in a developed area of LAC. Site preparation work will include minor trenching to extend existing utilities to the new building. The existing MHSB only has program space for 300 inmate-patients. The project includes an additional 66 staff to support the Enhanced Outpatient Program.
