Approval of a Time-Critical Excavation Workplan (TCEW) by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) pursuant to Health & Safety Code, chapter 6.8. The final TCEW was submitted to DTSC on July 30, 2009 by Parsons on behalf of Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). The TCEW focuses on excavation and removal to mitigate soils impacted with excessive levels of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and arsenic to a depth of approximately two feet in a 6 foot by 150 foot planter area.
