Widening Interstate 580 to provide a truck climbing lane in the eastbound direction over the Altamont Pass from the Greenville Road interchange to ~1 mile east of the North Flynn Road interchange. The proposed project includes constructing three upslope retaining walls and addressing rock fall areas asjacent to the Altamont Sidehill Viaduct.
