Document Description
The CAP will include an assessment of the region's progress toward attaining the California ozone standards and reducing exposure to ozone and other pollutants. Control measures included in the CAP are expected to produce environmental benefits by reducing emissions of ozone precursors and other air pollutants. The environmental review of the CAP will evaluate whether any measures will have secondary adverse environmental impacts, which would occur, for example, through the use of an emission reduction technology that itself may cause some adverse impacts. The District has prepared a preliminary list of control measures to be included in the CAP.
