The project proposes a General Plan Amendment, a Rezone and subdivision of one legal parcel (APN 060-531-160 and 060-641-090) into 10 single family parcels and one remainder within the City of Weed, CA. The proposed tentative subdivision map will result in 10 single family parcels, 0.78 acre to 1.5 acres in size, and one remainder parcels 310 acres in size.
The project proposes Rezone, General Plan Amendment, limited to the proposed 10 single family lots, from Residential Single Family Low Density, Rural Residential and Open Space to Residential Single Family Low Density. The remainder parcel will remain Residential Single Family Low Density, Rural Residential, and Open Space.
Additionally the project proposes Rezone, limited to the proposed 10 single family lots, from Rural Residential 5 acre minimums to Mountain Meadows Planned Development (Chapter 18.22 of the City of Weed Zoning Code, PD2006-01). The remainder parcel will remain in the currently zoning of Single Family Residential, Rural Residential 5 acres minimum, and Open Space.
