Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-SBR-55585-R6, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, San Bernardino County Transportation Authority. Project involves widening the multiple portions of the existing US-395 from two to four lanes in each direction and installing the left turn channelizations from post mile (PM) 4.0 to PM 11.2. The following activities will be conducted in respective features: Feature 1: extend the existing 20-foot wide, two-chambered culvert approximately 13 feet to the east and 14 feet to the west and add rock slope protection; Feature 3: realign the drainage to accommodate roadway widening and regrade the slope between the roadway and drainage; Feature 7: grading new slope areas to accommodate the road widening; Feature 8: extend the existing 24-foot wide, two-chambered culvert structure by approximately 11 feet at the southwest corner of the intersection of US-395 and La Mesa Road to accommodate the road widening. Removal of a portion of the drainage and rock slope protection, and relocation to the end of the box culvert extension. Additionally, the slope between the roadway and the drainage will be graded and the drainage will be realigned; and Feature 9: grading for temporary access for construction activities.
