The Permittee proposes to create, restore, and enhance habitat while at the same time enhancing public recreation at Machado Lake. Project activities include but are not limited to: dredging and sediment capping, wetland creation and enhancement, southern willow scrub creation and invasive species removal, outfall structures and bioswales, along with the installation of fishing piers and pedestrian pathways.
