The overall objective of Calleguas Creek Watershed Arundo/Tamarisk Removal Program (CCARP) is to facilitate non native invasive plant removal projects within the riparian corridors and coastal areas of the Calleguas Creek watershed in Ventura County, California. Two such species are emphasized for removal under CCARP, arundo (Arundo donax) and tamarisk (Tamarix spp.). However, other non native invasive plant species within the proposed area for CCARP may also be removed as part of this program.
