Document Description
NOTE: Review Per Lead
Caltrans District 6, as assigned by the Federal Highway Administration, and in conjunction with the City of Bakersfield, is proposing a new public road connection via an interchange on State Route 99 at Hosking Avenue (Post Mile 18.5). The proposed interchange would replace the existing Hosking Avenue overcrossing (one lane in each direction) with new structure with 3 lanes in each direction and sidewalks and shoulders on both sides. The connection to State Route 99 would be accomplished with a partial cloverleaf interchange. Loop on-ramps would provide access to State Route 99 for eastbound-to-northbound and westbound-to-southbound traffic, while spread diamond off-ramps and direct on-ramps would serve traffic in the northbound and southbound directions.
