Document Description
The applicant proposes to upgrade the capacity on a portion of the BNSF Railway Company's existing right-of-way by installing a section of second main track. The Project consists of upgrading ~16.43 miles of railway corridor from Milepost 1039.93 to Milepost 1056.36 located with the communities of Le Grand, Planada, Tuttle, and Kadota and the City of Merced. A portion of the Project consists of 4 new bridges or bridge expansions, including new bridge pilings, installed on Mariposa Creek at MP 1042.25; Owens Creek at MP 1045.9; on an un-named channel at MP 1045.7; and at another un-named channel at MP 1042.2.
