Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Mr. Patrick Emmert / Southern California Edison Company. The applicant shall replace an existing 18" corrugated metal pipe with a 42" CMP on Balsam Creek and install 3 temporary corrugated metal pipes; 2 within unnamed tributaries to Basalm Creek and 1 within Balsam Creek as part of the commercial harvesting of timber per THP 4-08-31/FRE-2. The temporary crossings shall be filled with clean rock during use and removed prior to the winter period after harvesting has been completed. After harvesting, the CMPs shall be removed and the channel returned to as close to natural conditions with areas of disturbed soil stabilized.
