Document Description
The project is located on State Route 76 approximately 150 feet east of Via Monserate, in the community of Bonsall, San Diego County. The Applicant proposes to alter the stream by removing the existing 18-inch pipe, replacing it with a 36-inch reinforced concrete pipe, and constructing two headwalls. Although typically dry during the time period for construction, sandbags may be used to divert water around the work area f necessary. Project impacts to stream habitats include 0.014 acre of disturbed herbaceous wetland are to previously disturbed upland areas. The purpose of the project is to alleviate flooding upstream due to undersized culvert.
