Perform a prescribed burn on approximately 73 acres of prairie near Grasshopper Mountain between Squaw Creek Road/Preacher Gulch Road and Grasshopper Road in Humboldt Redwoods State Park to restore and maintain the prairie, prevent the encroachment of Douglas-fir into the prairie, and reestablish the natural role of fire.
