Document Description
The project involves approval of a Removal Action Workplan (RAW) by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) pursuant to Health & Safety Code, chapter 8.8 as submitted on May 1, 2009 by Earth Systems Southwest [ESSW]. The purpose of the project is to mitigate impacted soils that exceed the project-specific human health and environmental risk criteria to minimize impacted soils that exceed the project-specific human health and environmental risk criteria to minimize human exposure to the identified chemicals of concern (Cos). The estimated volume of impacted soils is 400 cubic yards or approximately 30 truckloads. Project activities will commence in the summer of 2009 and are expected to take approximately five (5) days to complete the excavation and confirmation sampling activities.
