The project involves approval of a Removal Action Workplan (RAW) by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) pursuant to Health & Safety Code, chapter 6.8 as submitted on March 25, 2009 by Miller Brooks Environmental, Inc. The purpose of the project is to mitigate impacted soils that exceed the project-specific human health and environmental risk criteria to minimize human exposure to the identified chemicals of concern (COCs). Project activities will commence in the fall of 2009 and are expected to take approximately three (3) days to complete.
