Document Description
The proposed area of restoration at Site 5 is 0.3 acres on a 1.0 acre site along Soquel Creek in Soquel. The proposed area of restoration at Site 3 is 6.0 acres along Soquel Creek in Capitola, CA. These two sites are located within 0.5 miles from each other. At both sites, restoration crews will complete hand removal of re-growth of invasive groundcovers (English ivy, Cape ivy and periwinkle), and re-vegetate the area with native plants where needed. Removal of invasive plants and re-vegetation of the site with native plants will provide habitat cover and forage and help to "shade out" unwanted species.
