Document Description
The levee was damaged as a result of high water in December 2005 and January 2006. The damage consists of minor erosion approximately 300 feet long located on the upper portion of the waterside levee slope. Future high flow events would continue to damage the levee, which would increase the chances of a levee failure. The local agency that maintains the levee requested assistance from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers pursuant to the federal PL 84-99 levee repair program.
