Document Description
The project is the Department of Toxic Substances Control's (DTSC's) approval of Groundwater Monitoring with Institutional Controls (ICs) as the remedy for Site 33 (the Site) at the Vandenberg AFB. All groundwater monitoring wells at the Site, except for well 33-(Monitoring Well) (MW)-3, would be properly abandoned in accordance with Air Force and state guidelines. Then, Land Use Controls (LUCs) would be implemented to limit the area inside the fenceline of Site 33 to mission- or launch-related activities and to restrict future residential development.
