Document Description
The West Weaver Water Treatment Plant 2009 improvement project consists of prefiltration improvements that would reclassify the West Weaver Water Treatment Plant from in-line filtration to direct filtration, by the addition of one 8-ft diameter pressure filter to the four existing 6-ft diameter pressure filters to serve as a roughing filter/contact clarifer. Other improvements will include optimization of coagulant dosages, chlorine gas leak detection and alarms, emergency power generation, and security enhancements.
