Document Description
Install ground-in centerline rumble strips on Sac 16 (PM 6.3 / 24.0), Yub 20 (PM R3.4/10.4) and Gle/But 32 (PM 2.0-10.9/0.0-5.0). The purpose of this project is to reduce the potential for cross-centerline collisions. The installation of center-line rumble strips, which will function as a "soft" barrier, alerts the driver when they are crossing over the centerline and about ot enter into opossing traffic lanes. All work will be performed within the Caltrans right-of-way.
