The Applicant intends to alter the streambed by conducting a variety of activities in accordance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Levee Certification requirements (44 CFR 65.10). These activities include: a) vegetation and tree root removal; b) geotechnical trenching; c) repair sinkholes, rodent burrows and soil compaction; d) repair existing levee structural components in-kind; e) re-grade the top of levees/access roads; f) removal of debris/trash; g) groin repairs; h) install closure devices at outlet structures; and i) repair grade control structures.
