Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is proposing an HM funded Major Maintenance project located on Route 162. Upgrades include grinding of the current road surface in order to apply chip seal, a seal coat, a fog seal coat on dikes and gutters, and repair to extend the life of the existing pavement. There will be no changes in the existing roadway or drainage profile. There will be no soil disturbance, shoulder backing or any construction work on the bridge decks. Construction time for the completion of this project will take approximately 30 days. This project will not require equipment or staging areas. All work will be performed within the Caltrans right-of-way.
