To expand by 36 acres the area of an existing hard rock mine operation (State Mine ID# 91-52-0023) producing crushed aggregates from the Tuscan Formation in a Upland Agricultural-Agricultural Preserve Zoning District. The original project was authorized by Use Permit #83-42 approved by the Planning Commission on December 15, 1983. The total area of the proposed mining operation is ~60 acres. The quarry is located northeast of Red Bluff, ~2.5 miles west of Dales Station.
