Document Description
The 2012 Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) Program Final EIR addressed the environmental impacts of constructing and operating 13 ASR wells capable of both water injection and groundwater extraction. Eight of the 13 wells have been constructed. Of the remaining five wells covered in the 2012 ASR Final EIR, two are still planned to be constructed and are addressed in this Draft SEIR. This SEIR also addresses six ASR well sites that were not evaluated in the 2012 ASR Final EIR. Two of the six new sites are "back up" sites, to be used only if other sites are found not feasible.
