Document Description
This is a reques to relocate the Stanislaus County Animal Shelter, by constructing a 33,600 sf, 16 ft high animal shelter (constructed with concrete masonry block) and a 2,000 sf standing barn, on a 116.53 acre parcel within the Sphere of Influence of the City of Ceres. The shelter will have administrative offices, a veterinary facility, and housing for 563 animals. About 100 animals would be housed in areas such as the hospital, intake and quarantine. There will also be a public animal hold area to encourage adoption.
