Document Description
The Sweetwater Christian Youth Camp proposes to expand an existing recreational reservoir with an island, beaches, docks, a dam, and a spillway. The reservoir will affect the flow in Sweetwater Creek during high water events when the spillway will allow overflow to enter the creek headwaters. The pond surface area will be increased from 10,414 sf to 31,600 sf. The volume will increase from 1,504 cy to 4,461 cy. The dam will be constructed of on-site and imported fill totaling ~3,500 cy and will be ~345 ft long. The spillway will be an Agri Drain Inlet Water Level Control Structure. The water elevation will remain the same before and after construction. The Project area consists of the area within or adjacent to the pond and overflow to Sweetwater Creek, and associated mixed conifer and oak woodland and riparian habitats.
