Document Description
Amendments to the Huntington Beach Circulation Element are proposed to provide a plan that would achieve an efficient surface transportation system that will accommodate the increased volumes of traffic forecast to occur over the next 20 to 25 years, and to achieve desired intersection levels of service that minimize congestion during peak travel periods. The Circulation Element is the foundation for the City's efforts to manage and minimize traffic congestion, manage safety on roadways, and provide travel alternatives to the automobile, as well as better access to regional travel routes.
