The proposed project involves construction of a high school with four educational buildings, playfields, and a parking structure on the 8.37-acre site. The buildings would total ~130,000 sf including a classroom building with 45 classrooms; a performing arts and multipurpose building; a Support Service Center building with an administration area, library and clinic; and a physical education/gymnasium building with a gym, lockers, food service, and a maintenance and operations area. Approximately 113 parking spaces would be provided for faculty and staff in an on-grade parking structure with basketball courts above. The proposed project would provide ~1,215 two-semester seats for students in grades nine through twelve and require ~105 full-time and part-time faculty and staff. The proposed project's campus would be bisected by 58th Street. The campus would have a pedestrian bridge over this street which would connect the bisected campus and provide the exclusive pedestrian access between both ends of the campus during school hours and after-school events and activities.
