Document Description
The proposed project includes a boat haul-out pier, dry storage area, a large vessel service yard on City of Morro Bay owned property, as well as 2 public parking areas, a recreational path and a span over Morro Creek. The haul out facilities would accommodate larger commercial fishing vessels over 30 ft and emergency vessels as well as smaller vessels. the haul out pier (qith travel lift) would extend 60 ft from the shoreline to the edge of Morro Bay Channel. The pier would be capable of hauling vessel up to 70 tons and the service yard would provide 12 spaces that are 22 ft in width and 80 ft in length. The dry storage area would be located on the east side of Embarcadero and would include 137 impacts to hydrology and water quality. These technologies include a first flush filtration system, previous pavement, bio-retention basins and vegetated bioswales.
