Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code for the Gill Ranch Storage Pipeline Project. The Gill Ranch Gas Storage Project consists of a 5,020-acre surface area (Storage Field), within which a total of approximately 20 acres will be developed with surface facilities including a 10-acre central compressor station, gas injected, withdrawal wells, fields gathering lines, and observation wells. The Project also includes a 26.7-mile 30 inch diameter gas transmission pipeline, and 9.3-mile electric power line. For the purpose of this Agreement, there are five (5) locations where the 30-inch gas pipeline crosses water features that the Department has determined are subject to regulation pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1600 et seq. These locations are: -Fresno (Kings) Slough Overflow "Feature 16" -Fresno (Kings) Slough Overflow "Feature 16A" -Fresno Slough "Feature 17" -San Joaquin River and -Lone Willow Slough-Chowchilla Canal Bypass
