Document Description
The proposed permitting activity is a new drill and a rework in an underground gas storage (UGS) field. The installation of new wells is addressed in the Gill Ranch Gas Storage Project Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) Project Description, pages 2-1 to 2-24. The proposed permitting activity of a rework is contemplated in the MND. See Executive Summary pages 2-1 to 2-24.
The project activity(s) being permitted by the California Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM) is within the scope of the Gill Ranch Gas Storage Project MND.
CalGEM, as the CEQA Responsible Agency, approved permit(s) for Gill Ranch Storage, LLC. to drill and rework the wells listed below, in the Gill Ranch Gas Field in Madera County.
