PAR 1168 would amend volatile organic compound (VOC) content limits for certain adhesives, adhesive applications, sealants and caulks, and sealant primers; establish new categories and VOC content limits; define tertiary butyl acetate and dimethyl carbonate as exempt VOCs from roofing regulated products; expand the applicability of the rule to include some aerosol adhesive and consumer products used in manufacturing operations; remove or limit some existing exemptions; include annual reporting requirements for sales of regulated products; prohibit the use of Group II exempt solvents, except volatile methyl siloxanes, for regulated products; and include additional administrative requirements and corrections to clarify rule language and remove obsolete provisions.
