Document Description
The Runway Safety Area (RSA) Improvement Project Draft EIR has been prepared to identify and consider potential environmental impacts associated with the development of proposed improvements to the RSAs at Del Norte County Regional Airport, Jack McNamara Field (CEC or the Airport). The RSA improvements are needed to bring the Airport's RSAs into compliance with FAA design standards and as required for airports certificated under 14 CFR Part 139 as required by the 2006 Department of Transportation Appropriations Act (Public Law [PL]No. 109-115). The Draft EIR evaluates environmental impacts associated with the RSA Project and its alternatives in accordance with CEQA.
