Document Description
The applicant proposes to remove 51 linear ft of culvert under an abandoned driveway along Redwood Creek and revegetate the riparian corridor along that section. The daylighted portion will be regraded to match the existing creek profile to restore the hydrologic and hydraulic functions of the channel. The creek will be ~4 ft deep with 3:1 riparian banks that span a minimum of 9 ft on either side of the creek. The area will be planned with native species such as red willow, sycamore, and coyoted brush. There is a barn adjacent to the creek that will also be removed and planted with valley oak and coyote brush.
