Document Description
In order to slow traffic entering the downtown Weaverville area, Caltrans proposes to install traffic calming features from Trinco Road to Court Street on SR299. The proposed work includes removing the existing striping, striping the pavement for bicycle lanes, delineated medians, crosswalks, and constructing curb, gutter, sidewalk and planter areas. The intent of the project is to provide the motorists with a sense of community and slow traffic before it enters the downtown area.
