Caltrans plans to conduct exploratory drilling on SR70 at the following locations: Post Miles (PM) 1.68, 1.80, 1.92, 2.68, 2.73, 27.50, and 27.53. The purpose of the drilling is to obtain geologic core samples. The data will facilitate the design of a fture project to reconstruct earth retaining structures and guardrail.
