Document Description
The project will replace the belt press system that currently supports the RP-1 dewatering system demands. Inland Empire Utilities Agency will install centrifuges to satisfy the operational dewatering needs of the wastewater recycling facility. To meet demand and provide adequate system redundancy, four centrifuges will be installed (this provides three duty units with one backup unit). For added reliability dewatered cake will be conyeyed via a parallel screw conveyor system. The parallel arrangement provides a backup system for redundancy. Dewatered cake will be conveyed to a silo storage system capable of holding two days of cake production.
