Document Description
Construct a secure, permanent road material storage area at Millerton Lake State Recreation Area to remove unsightly stockpiles and safely store materials away from public use areas. Work will excavate 250 cubic yards of soil, grade to level area, add 6" of road base rock, add 2" of asphalt concrete, and installing stacking blocks to erect bins for the road material storage. Additional work will excavate a 900'Lx1'Wx2'D trench to install a 2" conduit along the side of the road in the same location as the road material storage area to install a telecommunication cable for better communications for safety and maintenance operations.
