Document Description
The California Department of Transportation proposes to replace the road surface and seal cracks at spot locations along SR 16. The project will consist of replacing the existing asphalt concrete surfacing to a depth of 0.25' (or 3") with hot asphalt mix from edge of pavement to edge of pavement. Removal of the existing pavement will be done with cold planing (grinding). The purpose and need is to extend the service life of the roadway and improve the riding surface.
