Document Description
The applicant intends to alter the streambed by removing concrete debris and other non-native materials from the streambed area. Removal shall continue until clean fill/soil is encountered. Concrete slurry and concrete debris were poured over the banks of the stream and down in the bottom of the channel. This occurred numerous times over the years and will now be removed to restore the banks and channel bottom of the Arroyo Colorado. A removal and restoration plan will be developed for Department review prior to the clean-up of the site. The impacted area of the Arroyo is in a u-shape and is 25-30' deep. Two culverts drain into the area from the surrounding agricultural fields.
