Document Description
The purpose of the proposed improvements in the Gregg segment of the San Joaquin Valley rail corridor is to enhance efficiency of rail traffic to flow through this segment of track. The primary improvement proposed is double tracking, specifically from Milepost 1008.95 to Milepost 1010.44 and from Milepost 1012.24 to Milepost 1013.9. The project will also include the upgrade of approximately 1.8 miles of the Gregg siding from Milepost 1010.44 to Milepost 1012.24, improvements (crossovers) at Milepost 1011.21 and Milepost 1011.43, installation of a culvert extension at Milepost 1012.74, a culvert extension at Milepost 1009.52 and signal improvements along the whole 4.95-mile alignment of the project.
