Document Description
The proposed project would construct a retaining wall along the right bank (looking downstream) of the creek channel to prevent further failure of a parking area adjacent to the bank. Three 12" diameter concrete caissons would be built on the bank approximately 2-3' from the top of the bank. A concrete wall, approximatley 8" thick and extending a maximum of 5' above soil level, would be built between the caissons. Approximately 2 cubic yards of gravel and soil backfill would be placed between the wall and the top of the bank, and the asphalt parking lot would be extended to the inside edge of the retaining wall. All equipment at the site would operate form the parking area and no equipment would enter the stream channel. Upon completion of construction, all disturbed soil would be stabilized using generally-accepted erosion and sediment control measures.
